Yes. The Starter plan is $0/month with no credit card required. You get one always-on service with 0.5 vCPU and 512 MB RAM on shared infrastructure, free SSL, the log explorer with 30-day retention, AI health reports, and encrypted environment variables. There is no time limit and no expiry.
Does the free tier sleep after inactivity?
No. Your Starter service stays online 24/7. There is no spin-down on idle and no cold-start penalty when traffic returns — unlike Heroku Eco, Render free, or Fly.io's free machines.
Can I use a custom domain on the free Starter plan?
Custom domains start on the Solo plan ($7/month) and are included on Hobby, Pro, and Enterprise. Solo also unlocks real-time monitoring and alerts for your service. The Starter plan gives you a

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Do you charge for bandwidth or build minutes?
No. The plan you're on is the price you pay. There is no metered bandwidth, no per-minute build charges, and no surprise overage when one of your apps gets a traffic spike. The only metered options are the optional managed PostgreSQL and Redis add-ons, which have their own flat-rate tiers.
Where are Belmo servers located?
Applications run in certified data centers in Falkenstein, Germany (EU) and Hillsboro, Oregon (US). Pick your region per service. The infrastructure is ISO 27001 certified and GDPR compliant.
Can I add a managed database to any plan?
Yes. Managed PostgreSQL starts at $19/month (DB Starter) for up to 2 databases with 5 GB storage each, scaling up through DB Pro ($25/month) and DB Scale ($39/month). Managed Redis is also available with a free tier. Add either to any workspace, including Starter.
Can I upgrade or downgrade between plans?
Yes. Upgrade instantly — the new resources are available within minutes. Downgrade at the end of your billing period; if your usage exceeds the lower plan's limits (more than 3 services on Hobby, for example) you'll be prompted to consolidate before the downgrade takes effect.
